Cookies
tempail.co does not set advertising or social-media cookies and uses no third-party analytics trackers. If you choose “Allow analytics”, a random, secure first-party cookie named __Host-tempail_traffic lasts up to 30 days. It estimates browser uniqueness and contains no email address or account credential. The administrator uses a separate essential login-session cookie. Your analytics choice is saved in LocalStorage. You can decline or change it using “Analytics privacy” in the footer; declining does not affect the inbox. DNT and Global Privacy Control prevent collection.
LocalStorage (not a cookie)
To keep your temporary inbox working across page reloads, the service stores your session token, address and password in your browser’s LocalStorage. LocalStorage remains in your browser, but the inbox sends authorized API requests through our proxy using these session details. Inbox storage is separate from analytics, which never reads its values. You can remove it at any time by clicking “New Email” or clearing your browser data.
Third-party services
Mail delivery is handled by Mail.tm. When you receive a message, your session token is sent to that provider so it can deliver your mail. Please review Mail.tm’s own privacy policy for how they handle their data.
