How tempail.co works
A temporary address here is a real mailbox — just one that is created on demand and not connected to you.
Step by step
-
1. An address is created
When you open the page, tempail.co requests a random username from the Mail.tm service and creates a real account for it. The address appears instantly — no signup, no forms.
-
2. You use the address anywhere
Paste it into a signup form, a trial, a download, or any site that asks for an email. Confirmation messages are sent to that address.
-
3. Messages appear live
Every few seconds your inbox checks for new mail. Messages are fetched from Mail.tm and shown on the page as readable cards, including attachments.
-
4. You copy and move on
Open any message to read it and copy its body with one click. When you are done, generate a new address — or simply close the page.
Where your session lives
Your session token, address and password are kept only in your browser’s LocalStorage, so you can reload the page and keep reading your inbox. There is no database on our side and no account to recover. Clearing your browser data, or clicking “New Email”, removes it.
What this tool is not
- It is receive-only — you cannot send emails from a temporary address.
- Addresses are temporary — treat them as short-lived, not as a permanent inbox.
- It is not anonymous communication — delivery is handled by Mail.tm, so do not use it for sensitive or legally binding messages.
- It is not a shield — it must not be used for spam, fraud, harassment or other abuse.
