Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
The short version
tempail.co keeps no account of who you are. We do not run a database, we do not ask for personal information, and we do not use tracking cookies. Your temporary email session exists only in your own browser.
What we store
- We do not store your email address, messages, or credentials on our server.
- Your JWT token, temporary email address, and password are kept in your browser’s LocalStorage so you can keep reading your inbox when you reload the page.
- You can erase this at any time by clicking “New Email” or clearing your browser data.
How mail is handled
Messages are provided live by the Mail.tm service. When you load your inbox, we request it directly from Mail.tm using the token stored in your browser. We do not copy, cache, or log the contents of your messages.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not sell or share your data. The only storage mechanism used is your browser’s LocalStorage, which never leaves your device. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Third parties
Mail delivery and storage of received messages are handled by Mail.tm. Please review their privacy policy for how they process messages. Temporary mail should not be used for sensitive information. See our Transparency page for exactly how mail flows and what we can and cannot see.
Responsible use
tempail.co is a privacy and testing tool. Using it to spam, defraud, harass, or attack others is prohibited. Read our Responsible Use Policy before using the service.
Security
We keep your data out of our hands by design: no database, no accounts, no server-side storage. For the technical details, including transport security and our HTTP security headers, see our Security page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. Any changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
