Responsible Use Policy
tempail.co exists to protect your privacy and make testing easier. It is not a tool for abuse.
Intended use
Temporary email is a legitimate part of the modern web. It is built for purposes such as:
- Software testing and quality assurance.
- Testing website registration and email-verification flows.
- Developer workflows and educational projects.
- Protecting your primary inbox from spam and data collection.
- Keeping personal information out of services you do not fully trust.
Unacceptable use
You must not use tempail.co for any of the following:
- Sending or facilitating unsolicited bulk email (spam).
- Fraud, phishing, deception, or identity abuse.
- Harassment, abuse, or threatening others.
- Malicious registrations or attacks against websites or individuals.
- Circumventing legitimate bans, recovery processes, or account security.
- Any activity that is unlawful, or that violates the Terms of Service.
Consequences
Abuse is not acceptable. We may block access, refuse to create addresses, or report serious abuse to relevant authorities. Because addresses are created through the Mail.tm service, that provider may also suspend or terminate accounts that are used abusively. We have no obligation to provide addresses for abusive purposes.
A temporary address is not a shield
Using a temporary address does not make actions anonymous, untraceable, or legal. Messages are held by a third-party provider (Mail.tm), and normal legal processes still apply. If you would not do something with your real email address, do not do it with a temporary one.
