Who runs tempail.co

tempail.co is an independent, small-scope project focused on one thing: fast, private temporary email. We do not sell advertising, we do not sell data, and there are no paid placements on the site.

How mail flows

1. Your browser

   The page you see is served from our server. Your session credentials live only in your browser.

2. Our API

   A lightweight API forwards requests to the Mail.tm service on your behalf. It does not store, copy or log the contents of your messages.

3. Mail.tm

   Mail.tm creates the mailbox and delivers the messages you receive. Messages are held by that provider until the session ends.

What we can and cannot see

• We do not collect personal information. We never ask for your name, phone number, or real email.
• We do not have a database, so there is nothing for us to search or hand over.
• Standard hosting access logs may record the IP address of visitors, as any web host does; we do not use them for tracking or advertising.
• Because messages are held by Mail.tm, a third party, temporary mail is not a private or secure channel. Do not use it for sensitive communication.

Honest limitations

• Temporary addresses are not anonymous. Delivery and storage are handled by another provider.
• Addresses are not guaranteed to last — treat them as short-lived.
• The service is receive-only; you cannot send mail from a temporary address.
• tempail.co is a privacy and testing tool, not a tool for evading law or abusing others.
